weather update?
I was wondering if anybody had figured out the weather glitch that causes negative temps? I also wanted to confirm that this is a cosmetic issue and dosen't effect things like pitching

I'm not sure about that glitch, though I do know that a lot of times, the weather information for ballparks will be completely screwy, which you can fix by going into the ballpark editor.
It is completely cosmetic. I have the craziest temperatures in my game, simply because it doesn't affect outcomes and I don't have the patience to fix every single park's weather info. It was 672,260,927 degrees and the wind was blowing 473,303,437 mph in my last game. And my team is still alive. It doesn't affect the game. Which is kind of disappointing. What's the point of having weather if it means absolutely nothing?

I would love to see heat (and add humidity) affect player/pitcher fatigue and injuries.....especially since I usually put my teams in the deep south with high temp and humidity

I think the problem lies in using dat file sets without the weather.dat files that were created at the same time.
I previously thought the ballpark weather info was kept in the park.dat or parkconfig.dat files until I was shown the error of my ways. I am just finishing up a 155 bitmap historical stadium set and will make sure the weather.dat gets included in the release. |

The problem has been mentioned to the development team. I agree with soxman's assessment.
I suspect the problem is caused by the stadiums and weather.dat files not mapping together properly. |
