RF disappears

I'm playing a historical league using 1987 and recently when in the SION Broadcast screen, the Right Fielder for both teams disappears when showing the players in the field. I have no idea why. Has anyone seen this? Thanks for the help.

It sounds like you have them positioned wrong in the ballpark layout.

Make sure they are not hiding behind the centerfielder.

Have you edited the ballparks at all?

Thank you for answering.

No, I haven't changed anything with the ballparks. I've played 2 other seasons exactly the same way. It started when I went to click on the RF and missed and clicked near him and he disappeared. Since then, the RF is there sometimes and other times not there.

Perhaps you accidentally dragged and dropped the RF off the screen? Is the RF gone for one particular stadium background display and not others?

I've had similar problems with the SION Broadcast display.

First, runners at 3rd base disappear when my team is at home. They're actually on-base; just not visible This has been going on for quite a while. I installed OOTP on a laptop (it was on a desktop) and brought the saved game over, and the runners remained missing.

Then in a series at another park, the catcher position disappeared in the same way. This just occurred (prompting me to check the forum tonight) so I don't have much more data around it.

I use the standard ballparks.

If I accidentally dragged a player in the position (3rd base runner or catcher) off the screen, is there a way to get him back?

The RF disappears during home games. So after reading the responses, I just went into edit ballpark although I never did before and there is no RF. Where could he have gone? I don't think he's behind the CF. I can't find him in there.

I went into editing the ballpark.

For the field missing the 3rd base runner, I discovered this on the field, but tucked into the right hand corner of the screen. I was able to move it back to the proper location and all seems to work properly.

But for the ballpark missing the catcher, he was nowhere to be found on the screen, just as bas1311 describes for his RF.

Does the RF even have a reference location, i.e. x y coordinates?

I'm sorry. I don't know what X Y coordinates would mean in reference to the RF and the game or where that would be found.

When you edit ballpark, picture/coordinates, the coordinates portion of this screen references the specific postion. Is the right fielder listed there, and if he is are his coordinates anywhere close to your other fielders?

Thanks Endgame!!! The Y coordinate was negative for some reason and the X coordinate was in the thousands. I have no idea how that happened. Thanks so much for the help.
