Minor Leaguers totally exhausted!
I set the lineups for my minor league teams with substitutes if starter uis tired but several starters are always at 0%(totally exhausted). They start every game.
I cannot control the team since I control my MLB team. What can I do? |

Nothing AFAIK. Minor league exhaustion is somewhat common (or at least known).

There is a work around. You need to move players up or down so that the depth chart is filled out for every position. You may need 26 or 27 players in order to get all positions covered with backups. The most common problem that I see is at catcher where the AI uses the backup catcher as DH. I sign 2 or 3 scrub FA catchers every year just to have a third catcher on every team.
Don't use the "set up complete minors" button. Go to each individual team and set it up. Then check the depth chart to make sure that all positions have a sub. No sub=tired starter. The other problem is injured players. If you have two or three injuries that are not DtD then the remaining players will get tired. You need to add players again. I hope that minor league roster management gets some attention in the next version.

i have this problem in a full-minors MLB setup i use. i turned off the minor league roster limits as you need 26-29 players the keep everyone fresh and like RchW says, program the depth charts yourself. ill often pick up scrubs from the FA pool just to sub for tired starters.

You are right! My 2nd catcher was playing DH due to injury so noone ttok the place of the catcher.
A few other guys never get subbed for misterious reasons. |
