Can a player come off the DL early?
Just wondering if there's a way to bring a player off the DL a few days early when they're well or do they have to stay there they entire time. I've got a sp who's good to go now but he's still got 5 days left on the DL.

Don't think so, Mr. B. Or else there would be shenanigans afoot both in game and in real life. Of course, as commissioner in player editor mode, you may have godlike powers but I've never tried doing it.

Nope, you can't bring him off the DL legally. You can bring injured players off the DL as long as their DL time is up (although I'm not sure why you'd want to), but you can't bring uninjured players off the DL until their DL time is done. In Commissioner Mode, of course, you can do whatever you like, including erasing someone's DL time, but that's sort of cheating.

That's what I thought. I really wasn't trying to be evil but the OOTP Gods have punished me anyway. The long reliever I used in the very next game to cover for the injured starter went out with a herniated disc for 60 days. I repent, I've learned my lesson well.

As a rule of thumb, some key players never go on the DL list for me.
