Import Roster Problem II
This thread may need to be reopened.
I have thought that the Export and Import Rosters will be a huge help to my league, but it doesn't seem to work properly for me yet. If this hasn't been reported a zillion times yet, I wonder if this has something to do with the setup of my league (Major League and full minors, no financials, AI moves turned off...) I don't have to do anything special to replicate this. All I need to do is Export Rosters and immediately Import them. As you can see, I don't even have to edit or even open the file. The file is 100% OOTP-generated. After I import, you can go to a player, such as Mr. Bonds: ![]() And the player card indicates clearly that he is on the Los Angeles Spirit. However, go to the Spirit, and their team is a ghost town: ![]() It doesn't matter which minor league team or disabled list, etc, there are no players anywhere. They aren't on the Free Agent list either. They exist in a limbo, which puts them on the Spirit, but yet not on the Spirit. This, of course, occurs for every team in the same exact way. |

Under Options & Ballpark for each affected team, is the "Prevent any AI roster changes" checkbox selected? If so, you'll need to unselect that in order to allow the AI to properly move their players around and avoid putting them into limbo.

Yeah, many older roster sets have this option enabled. Let us know.

Yep, that was it!
I wouldn't recommend it for in-season changes though (it put 50 players on all my major league 25-man Active rosters...). |
