Which pitcher do I keep?
Here's my Pitching staff...help me decide who to drop.
Peavy Verlander James Shields Josh Beckett AJ Burnett Tim Wakefield I'd like to keep just 5 SP's (got my other spots used up for saves and holds....closers and MR's)...its really a toss up between Burnett and Wakefield...unless you think Shields is going to implode??? ![]()

I'd keep Burnett as he gives you K's. I like Wakefield, but he has 36 K's in 64 IP; Burnett has 71 K's in 71 IP.

personally never been a big wakefield fan cuz he doesn't get you the K's and if his knuckleball isn't hitting its spot he's gonna blowup your era

Thanks for the replies. you both bring up good points. I think Burnett's upside is greater than Wakefield...so I'll go with AJ until he gets hurt.
![]() thanks.
