New to the Game...Changing Rules & Options after game starts?

I'm creating a league based around the old Federal League. I'm going to run it side by side with the Majors from the same period.

If I set the league to have a draft can the league have acces to the incoming historical players via the draft or only via trading/ free agency?

Should only be through through trades (assuming you enable trades between leagues) and free agency (ditto).

Due to the 'two subleague' restriction you can't put the Federal League under the same league umbrella, and to the best of my knowledge you can't point an historical database at seperate leagues. (Unless you duplicate players, I suppose, but that's not what you're looking for.)
