Infield/Outfield shifts

When playing in Manager mode (Playing the 9 inning game). Is there a way to see how the opposition (AI) is setting their infield or outfield for a specific AB (In, deep, shift, etc)? IRL a manager may chose not to sacrifice in a situation where the infield is playing in or viceversa.

I poked around and couldnt figure how how/if the computer will display the fielding team's position shifts.

I don't know why it's like this, but the defensive settings on the broadcast screen are grayed out when the AI opposition is in charge, to the point where you probably assume that the windows are blank.

However, you may be able to read them if you try hard enough. I was able to angle my laptop screen just now so that I could just barely see the settings, and I saw that the AI did bring corners in with my guys on first and second, nobody out.

People have commented on this in the past; I don't know if they will change it in a patch or not.

This would be helpful in certain situations for sure...I'd like to see it come to fruition at some point, just would add even more strategery to an already outstanding game...

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but it's an opportunity for me to mention again that I'd like to see this option extended to being able to see your own team's strategy when playing out a game and you have deferred to your manager's decision. I often play out my games controlling offensive strategy only, while my field manager makes the calls regarding pitching, substitutions, and defensive strategies.

Right now, the only 'cheat', aside from actually re-selecting my options on the Option page, is to slightly grab your catcher like you're about to move his visual position on the field and then quickly slide the cursor into the blanked-out strategy area. It will suddenly appear!

You're faithfully conducting yours, and I applaud your efforts. Now if I were to mention bringing back Inherited Runs Scored %, then I'd be following your fine lead.
