When can I turn on amateur draft?

Had amateur draft off for my first season, would like to turn it on for season 2. When can I? I thought the offseason, but I'm at January 1 and it's still greyed out.

Wait until preseason, as you probably have found out by now.

Correct.

The faded words under Amateur Draft were "This option is only available dur" and then it ran off the screen. LOL.
