The Sales Pitch
The 4OTP is a long running league that was started about five years ago; however, it was "restarted" when OOTP2006 was released last year. As a result, the league is about to enter its third season (2008). We have now converted to OOTP2007, and are looking for several owners to fill vacancies created when personal committments caused several owners to drop out at the end of our last season.

The league has a great deal of personality from the core group of owners who have been around since the beginning, from our customized web reports and enhanced development reports, and from our website, which features articles and analysis about the league written by our owners.

We have a fairly typical sim schedule (weekly sims, three times a week), with a relaxed atmosphere: we only require owners to export once a week, and you'll never been kicked from the league for being busy or going on vacation (provided you tell us about it, of course!).

Our rules adhere closely to MLB rules, with the exception of draft pick trading, which is enabled, the length of the Division Series, which has been increased to a Best of Seven, and slightly lengthened waiver and DFA periods to accomodate the sim schedule. We do not have any salary cap, although we do have an $80 million Cash Maximum in place (no revenue sharing).

As of this writing we're just beginning our free agency period between our second and third seasons, so we're at a perfect point for new owners to jump in, as you'll have some time to get familiar with your team and even tweak it a bit before the games start again.

If you're interested in joining the league or have any other questions, please send an e-mail to 4otpcommish@gmail.com, and you'll receive a response within two days.

Three of the openings have been taken, but the Braves, Reds, Astros and Rockies are still available.

I just want to say that this is a good league, whose former incarnation I was a part of for four years (and many seasons). Kai's a pretty good commish, too, and that only hurt a little bit to say. Mostly because he's a Blue Jay fan.

We've filled the Cincinnati and Houston openings. Atlanta and Colorado are all that remain.

PS> Thanks, Kelric.

...and now the Rockies are gone, so we're down to the Atlanta Braves.
