Retired Players uni workaround....and request....

I was getting frustrated having my retired players, hall of famers with those ugly blurry pictures rather than the facegen image. This takes time but what I do now is after the season and before I update the almanac. I do the following.

All retired and cei players, I go into the retired screen and edit them to place them back on their last team if they don't have the uniform on. I then put them into the uniform of the team and do a freeze picture. I then take them off the team and they are back in the retired list. If the players are already in uniform I do a freeze picture, otherwise they will drop off and get the dreaded blurry man picture....

The only downside is that these images stay in the image folder. I was going to move them but then you have to edit all the html documents to point to the new image location. Perhaps someone could write a quick util that opens the html and finds the current location of the picture and overwrites that with the new folder.....

Now for the request, should there not be an option to save player images after retirement and have them in a different folder than images??? This would be awesome. Have it an option for those of us that want images without having to do the almanac yearly.

I've asked about this. My suggestion was that the cpu auto looks at a retired players teams list, and puts him in a uni from the team he played the most for.

Good Idea, now lets hope that someone sees this that programs the game and thinks that it is cool.....

I would like to possibly see an option when someone goes into the hall of fame as to what uniform the player should wear.

The game rocks, but it is not right that the players just disappear after their careers end. Images will let the players live on more....
