Couple of Questions

I'm far from a know it all on computers. How would I be able to get my hands on and install the 06 MLB Rosters? I know we are working hard on 07, but my heart would be content with '06.

When doing an inaugural draft can I have some feedback on how you guys build your team with potential vs actuals? Thanks!

Here is a few of my favorite places to DL from. All have great site mods and update a lot.
http://www.ootpmodsquad.com/
http://www.allsimbaseball.com/index....tpage&Itemid=1
http://web.mac.com/sixwilsons/iWeb/OOTPMods/Main.html

I have done a few drafts I usually try to get a few developed players early that can give you some production be it a position player or pitcher. Then after that I look for solid porospects to develop or trade away. But, please know I am not very good at drafts LOL.

Thanks very much for the feedback Scottie. Once I DL a roster mod, where would I place it in order for it to take effect? Again I've never been mistaken for a computer genious

If you set up the game in the way the game suggests when you DL it. Follow these steps please.
1. Goto "My documents"
2. Double click "Sports Interactive"
3. Double click "OOTP Baseball 2007"
4. Double click "Data"
5. There you should see several folders. Find "quickstart_games' & "saved_games" those two should be were you place the roster set. Just depends on which roster set you DL.

**I usually unzip the roster on my desktop into a folder with the name of the league (I.E. 'My League" or "Scott's") then move it into the folders in step 5 from above.

Hopefully that's a good help for you. If you have any questions feel free to e mail me or write in this thread. I am subscribed to this thread so I know as soon as I check my mail that you wrote back.

Scottie,

I think you answered my questions. I won't be able to test until Sunday. Bulls playoff game tonite at a buddies place, and wall to wall NFL draft tomorrow. Thanks for putting up with the noobiness I'm displaying. I'm really looking forward to playing with real names, and getting started as the Tampa Bay D-Ray GM. Yes Yes, I wanna challenge myself!
