i have a cpu, don't know the specs but can someone please tell me how to fix this? |

send error report
i didn't back anything up on my own. are you saying that particular league is lost for good then? if so, how can i prevent that from happening again? what would happen to cause it to get damaged?
thanks for the help |

worl, try this:
1. Close OOTP 2. Rename the faces.dat file in that game's .lg directory 3. Start OOTP and try to load the league |

send error report
When you say rename the .lg files, what exactly do you mean?
And I have a new problem. I started a new league, etc., have played 22 games and all of a sudden I am getting a send error report message again. The message pops up when I try to play the game for that day. Also, all of the pitchers in the league are J. Unknown and the same picture is used for every pitcher. The teams overall records are what they should be but the starting pitcher for every team is J. Unknown (0-0). I had made a backup of the game but am not sure how to use that. I love this game but am getting more and more frustrated with it. This is the 2nd league that I have played roughly 20 games and then something happens. I appreciate the work you guys do to not only develop this product but more importantly, to answer questions and assist with problems. I know you can't guarantee a 100% no hastle game but any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. And please be as specific as possible because I'm not much of a computer guy. Thanks in advance. |

Are you using someone else's roster set or did you create your own fictional league? I've seen this name issue come up in other threads where someone has modified the names file.

Did you ever remove that faces.dat file like Steve asked?

Worl4, since we haven't heard back from you on this issue in over a week, I am going to close this thread. If you need any further assistance with this issue, please ask a moderator to re-open the thread. Thanks.
