OOTP 2007:NFL Style

I was thinking about a working on a mod for Out of the Park Baseball 2007 which would incorporate the NFL teams, logos, player pictures, and the look of te NFL if it were a baseball league. Here is what I am thinking of working on...

All 32 Teams, 8 Divisons, Bsically how the NFL looks now.
25 man roster includes all 22 starters on offense and defense, kicker, punter, and one other player to be chosen from the backups.
QB is Staff Ace, WR in CF, and really most of the other positions will be a shot in the dark as to where they could be played.
Head coach is manager, etc.

If anyone is willing to help me out on coming up with possible lineups, stat ideas, or anyways to help out my idea. It will probabaly take a while to come up with these rosters, but once they are done, maybe an online league could be created using the league.

Interesting concept. Post a league file when you do this. I would think an NBA setup, or an NHL setup would be interesting to see too.

Are you going to try and translate their NFL stats into baseball ability? Would QB's be pitchers?

Just curious to know how you're doing this. I could see Wide Recievers as OFs and linemen as catchers, and running backs as infielders.

edit: oops I Did not read the whole thing before I posted this. you answered some of my questions in your original post.

Yeah, I'll try to use thier football abilities and stats and try to incorporate that into thie baseball stats.

NBA and NHL would be cool also, although with the smaller rosters could cause a little bit of a problem. Anybody who would like to contribute, go ahead and do so.

Yeah, smaller rosters would be a problem in those cases, huh..... perhaps you could do a mix of real and fictional and keep a normal starting linup of 9 of the 12 guys on an NBA roster. Pitchers might be a problem.

But the NFL idea sounds really cool.

I actually realigned my lg similar to the NFL setup, the only thing is you can't do the playoffs the same. I'd really like to see expanded playoff options at some point. i.e. 4 division winners, 2 wildcard teams, top 2 teams get byes etc. etc.
As it stands, in order to have wildcard teams, 16 teams make the playoffs...

I'm all for it. If it's added to a existing MLB League. Also the more Playoff teams to.
