Problem loading online league file

I have downloaded my league's OOTPB2007 initial game file (pre-patch and post-patch) several times now and I am continually getting an error screen stating:

"Cannot load the database.The database is either corrupt or a saved game from a previous version"

Any ideas on what is causing this error?

My local leagues work fine. It is only the online league file that won't load. None of the other GM's seem to be having issues with the file.

System:
OOTPB2007 patched
Pentium M Processor 1.86ghz

Can you try manually downloading it from the league's server and extracting it by hand? Does that work?

Curious if it is the game that is corrupting the files, or if it some setup on your machine.
