How great is this?! (Oh, and 1 question about AAA depth charts)

I think this is the first time I'm taking the GM aspect of the game so seriously, and I just wanted to take some time out from putting my team together and say how incredible this game is.

I haven't even started spring training for this league's inaugural season and I have already logged at least 15 hours wheeling, dealing, and setting my lineups, rotations, and depth charts. How awesome! OK, here's the question:

Say I have 3 AAA, 5 star prospects. They are all middle infielders with huge offensive upsides, but are all a bit weak in the field. I want them all to play every day, platooning between 2b, 3b, and ss. If Player A is the starter at 2b, is first utility at 3b (every 2nd day), and second utility at ss (every 3rd day), and so on for the other 2 players (Player B starting at ss, every other day at 2b, etc.), will this work?

Does this make sense?

Yes. It should.

Glad you like the game. The real challenge is trying to build a dynasty and hang on. Just as your great prospects develop into the stars that you imagined, you'll have an incredible challenge hanging onto them because of payroll issues.

I cannot imagine a better game for giving us the real challenges of a GM and owner. Now you understand trades that look goofy until you realize they're simply trying to dump payroll.
