What happens if i don't use it and not hit it ?

What affects does it have ? pros and cons ?

The "adjust team markets button" adjusts all team markets (duh) by changing the market size of each team to a size that is appropriate for its current payroll. Corresponding contracts (TV, merchandising, etc.) also adjust.

When to use it? I don't. The only time I've ever used it is after an initial league-starting draft. However, using it then results in all teams being basically large markets. It does, however, prevent teams from beginning their existence in the red. Also, if you limit the size of the initial draft to, say, one round, then adjusting will result in all team markets being based on one-man payrolls--Almost Nonexistent, maybe some Tiny.

Use it when you want to.
