2037 - No way to stop in-game progression
I am the commissioner of the league and decided to watch the first game of the playoffs.
I am managing neither team (just watching) yet I make the mistake of unchecking the "pause after each play" box so now the game continues on and on and on with no way to stop. Normally, the game would pause anyway when the inning finishes, but since I managing neither team it just keeps going. The PbP is super slow, so now I have to wait 45 minutes or so until the game finishes by itself. It's frustrating. I tried to click everywhere on the screen, trying to re-check the pause after each play button, clicking the quick-play buttons at the bottom but no luck. This is still a problem, correct? It did not get fixed in the first patch, which I have? My reason for asking is that I tested it for this guy and wound up in the same situation as sfgiants88.
Edit: As I noted on that other thread, if you click the "pause after each play" box a bunch of times in quick succession, it eventually wakes up and pays attention. Last edited by 1998 Yankees; 04-16-2007 at 11:10 PM. |

I think the problem is that the game will only let you click on a button or to change views after a play is completed, which means you need to have decent reflexes to get the click to register. If your mouse cursor is an arrow when you move it to the pause after each play button, leave it there and then wait for it to change to the hand. If you click it right when the cursor changes to the hand, it will register. I'm not sure if i would call it a bug per se, just something a short pause after each play might fix.
