Watching Games

I am playing as commissioner & general manager of 1 team. On the Scores & Schedule page all of the games are listed as "Manage" or "Quick play". None of them offer the option "Watch Game".

Does anyone know what setting I have wrong? Thanks.

it's because you are the commissioner. So you can play/manage any game. If you go into the game and click the option to "watch", you'll be set.

Start a game, and just make sure on the options page that you're not managing either team in the game. Then you can watch.

On a note is there a way to watch a game in one pitch.

I agree. There is no "Watch" option in the options screen. Since I wanted to "quick play" each at bat, I had "Pause after each play" selected and, instead of clicking on "continue", I clicked on "Quick-play: at bat" instead. This seems to give me what I was looking for.

By the way, if you don't have "Pause after each play" selected, the game seems to play only in pitch-by-pitch mode and is very difficult to freeze play.

No, but it has been noted as a feature request.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it - and hope for the future.

Hit enter or the space bar.

Strategic one-pitch is only needed when managing the game. When watching it as the GM (which is how I play out most of my games in 2007) simming the at-bat does the exact same thing, including stopping when there's a failed bunt attempt, wild pitch/passed ball, or play on the base paths.

There's really no difference at all between one-pitch and Enter if you're not managing the strategic portion of the game.

I guess what I was thinking about was watching the game in one-pitch mode without pressing any keys - just like watching a regular game, only faster since it is in one-pitch mode.

My only concern with this is the ability to pause the game. When watching the game in every-pitch mode it was very difficult to put the game on "pause" in case the phone rang or something like that.

I'd like to watch the game in 0ne-pitch mode without pressing any keys, but would like to pause or change the settings at any time.
