3227 - Number of draft rounds...WHAT?

This is just something I ran into when setting up...20-team majors with 5 levels of minors (default setup). When tweaking the number of draft rounds generated and selecting 25, this popped up.

Can this be right? 95 rounds for a 20 team league with 5 levels of minors seems a bit drastic unless I missed something somewhere. I've double checked everything and can't find anything amiss...

is it possible that you didn't set team affiliations and its actually seeing 120 independent teams at 6 different levels?

I completely deleted all minor leagues. All I have is my 20-team major league. Now it tells me I need 100 rounds

I've gotten weird recommendations too. I just ignore them...

It's not very useful if it's not suggesting reasonable numbers of rounds... that was the whole point of it suggesting it.

I tinkered around with it for a few minutes, and I think I figured something out. Not too sure if it's just something minor or part of a larger bug...

I believe I read somewhere that the number of draft rounds was determined by [levels of minors * 5].

Previously it recommended 100 draft rounds. I deleted all of my minor leagues, and added them back. Now it recommends 125 rounds. It appears as though for some reason, after deleting and re-adding leagues, it's adding to reccomended draft rounds. I haven't tested this much, so take everything I say with a grain of salt...

This was claimed fixed in the first patch. If you continue to have trouble with this issue, please contact a moderator to reopen this thread.

Upon testing, this was found to not be fixed with the first patch. The TT has been regressed and sent back to the coders for review.
