Walk... Walk... Walk... Walk... Walk...

So I'm ready to jump into OOTP 2007. So right after installing my elicense, I start with importing a 2006 game based on beta Cubby 2007 (midseason) and jump right into a game: Giants (me) against the Dbacks.

Switch to one pitch mode and I get start. Top of the first, Juan Cruz walks my leadoff guy. Then the next guy. Then the next guy. And so on. After 11 straight walks, I'm up 8-0 but rather bored. As far as I can tell, the opposing pitcher has a control rating of 5 (Juan Cruz).

Not bitching, but any thoughts on where the bug might be? Is my 2006 league somehow incompatible? Is the problem because I imported midseason? Does OOTP 2007 have special insight into Cruz's suckitude?

Also, stadiums were fine when I played the league in 2006, but the other problem that I noticed was that the game has assigned RFK to Arizona's home park.

Is anyone else having this sort of problem with imports from 2006?

Up the walks under league totals to 16000.

Edit: See here.

Same problem

I changed the BB to 16000 but I am having closers coming in giving up 4 or 5 walks in a row. What am I doing wrong? Please help. Thanks in advance.

do you have the warmup rule enabled? If yes and you are not warming pitchers up prior to bringing them in, they will not pitch well.
