Pitcher warm-ups

I thought I'd reference this topic on the General Board:

Summary:
1. Pitcher warm-ups should consider time while team is at bat as well as between innings. Some concern that warm-ups take too long (more than 1 inning)

2. Pitchers should be automatically "warm" when coming in to relieve injured pitchers. Some concern that right now we are forced to use "cold" pitchers to replace injured pitchers whereas in real life, the game is suspended temporarily to allow the new pitcher to warm up.
