3088 - Pitcher Status On Broadcast Screen
While running spring training, I've got a pitcher that has thrown 122 pitches and still shows as "OK" on the SION Broadcast screen, but when I check the substitutions screen, he's listed as "Exhausted".
I haven't played a regular season game, so I'm not sure if it is just a Spring Training bug or not. AS |

I can recreate this in Spring Training. By intentionally walking a whole bunch of batters, I pushed my pitcher up to 182 pitches. He is listed as OK in both the Broadcast screen and in his Player Profile. However, the little Exhausted battery icon is showing up next to his name in the Substitutions screen. Let me try a regular season game before logging this.

Same thing happens in regular season games.
It seems that the Exhausted icon shows up right after a pitcher has made his start. That may be used more for later games, but pitchers should still be showing up as something less than OK after throwing hundreds of pitches. I'll note that when you choose to "Visit Mound" that a pitcher will tell you if he is tired or not. I don't play in game much, so maybe someone else can lend some insight? In the Broadcast screen, should a pitcher be listed as Status: OK no matter what? |

It would just be nice to be able to determine the fatigue level without going to the sub. screen or making a visit to the mound. AS |

I don't see why that would be the case. But, I don't play in game much either.
Anyway, I've logged this as TT 3088 |

I believe the game is designed to leave this as "okay" until you visit the mound to find out otherwise. I'll await someone else's confirmatio of it, but if i'm correct this is not a bug, but a feature.

I was also told that this could be referring to his Injury status, and not his fatigue status.
I TT'd it anyway, so if it is inentional, Markus will let us know. |

Well I just pitched a guy into the ground, and he never changed from "OK", even though he was over 180 pitches and getting pounded (and asking to be removed). Seems like it is an "Injury Status" field, which seems somewhat useless, as it will only be usable on DTD injuries, and it would likely be info you could easily get from the Player info page.

I thought that too, but after visiting the mound to figure out that my pitcher was in fact tired, it still displayed him as "OK".
