ABA Quickstart

Hey everyone -

Just wanted to introdruce the QuickStart that I will be posting this evening. Contrary to current trends, this organization will be much smaller.

The American Baseball Association (ABA) is comprised of two leagues, the Metropolitan League and the Great American League. Each League has an East and a West Division, each with 6 teams, for a total of 24 teams. There are no other affiliated, minor, etc. leagues. Just the one!

Here are some other facts:
- Each team has a custom logo, colors and uniform.
- I assigned each team a ballpark photo (MLB Parks), but the ballpark factors are fictional.
- Weather settings are correct for each team
- The league is set to start in 2000
- The innaugural draft has not happened yet
- Ratings are set to the 1-10 scale

I've attached the photo collage created from photos taken at today's uniform unveiling and fashion show held at the League Headquarters in San Diego. Initial reviews are positive, though Islanders fans are having a hard time with the sky blue cap....

Looks good but I think you meant Pittsburgh "Steel" not "Steal" unless you are talking about the crime rate.

Actually I did mean "Steal".... as in the baseball term? Thought it was kinda clever....

One bummer that I didn't realize is that Quick Starts do not include the ballpark photos. Oh well...
