Three Questions

I'm now starting to think about my setup when the game comes out, and have a couple of questions for those who may know.

1. How does the game handle independent minors now? That didn't work very well in 2006.

2. Sometime last year, I saw a list of all of the minor league teams, with nicknames, classifications, and affiliations going back into the 1890s or maybe even earlier, but I can't find it now. Does anyone know what I'm talking about who can point me to that list?

3. If I start a game in the 19th century, will I be able to use the yearly recalculation option for historical players? What if I import them individually?

Not that one. This was a spreadsheet sort of list with city, nickname, league, affiliation, and year all on one line.

But... that's what that is. Look in the signature of gohorns98. Not at the link in the post.

Do you mean independent minor leagues or independent clubs within an affiliated minor league?

Thanks a lot ctorg!!! I was looking for this last week, and I started a league without it...now I'll start a new universe using this!!! However, none of them will be affiliated...awesome.

Thanks ctorg and gohorns98. First time I've ever seen such an extensive list of minor league teams. The spreadsheet will come in handy when OOTPB 2007 comes out.
