Game crash when start a new season

I own both 6.12 and 6.5.

Ive never had this problem before. When I finish a season and try to go on to a new season in both versions the game crashes. Any reason why?

Even when I start over, reinstall everything, start a new season...the same thing happens at the end of the season when I try to go on to the next season.

Anyone have any ideas?

what should the start date be?

i tried changing the date to 1/1.....still crashes.

anyone have any other ideas?

In short, you need to change the start date to whatever day your regular season will begin (i.e. April 4th)

still nothing....game crashes at screen that says "generating team reports"

You are hitting the "generate schedule" button after you reset the start date, right?

Uninstalled...then reinstalled the game. Still cant go to next season. Cant tell you how frustrating this is.

Ive never had this problem before....why now after I install 6.51a?

I found the problem!!!!

Antivirus was running and not allowing me to start a new season. I just installed a new version of antivirus and that appeared to be making my game crash. I turned it off and now the game is running smoothly again...so far anyways.

For what it's worth - I think you need to update your email address on file with the OOTP forum - I tried to email you twice about your problem but both bounced back.
