It should be a good game. The Pats look like they have some confidence back on offense and they're a tough defense to run on, but the Chargers have been a juggernaut this year.

I'm a Pats fan living in San Diego, watched some of both teams, and all I can say to this..

Unless Marty gets out there and lays some big hits on LT himself, I don't think even he can lose with this team.

He does have a challenge to prepare his QB for a real defensive master in Belichick, but if that preparation is "just give it to LT, maybe he'll even throw for a TD or two, and you can celebrate", that'll be good enough.

I'd be a lot more positive if we had Harrison...

His chief experience with this quality a team says otherwise.

It's probably about as close as the talent advantage the Chargers have.

Yes, I'm saying it, the Chargers have a SIGNIFICANT talent advantage.

Dola,

The wildcard in this game is going to be playoff experience, particularly at the QB position.

Let's just say I'm less than fond of QB's making their 1st playoff start.

If SD had played the Pats in the wildcard i would have picked SD but withthe Pats getting the first playoff game out of the way, they seem to be ready to play now. SD had a good season but sometimes teams just come out flat in their first playoff game. I see the Pats getting a quick 10 pt lead and holding on to a 34-17 win. That defense is like 6th and the Brady is clicking with his receivers now. Plus i think Brady is ticked about not being on the pro bowl and wants to win the SB even more than usual. I think the Pats can slow LT down enough for the win and i just dont beleive any team coached by Shotty will make it to the superbowl. If SD doesnt choke this week they will choke in the championship game. Its the Marty choke rule. No matter how good his team is they will always choke somewhere in the playoffs.

Thank goodness none of them are in the SD/NE game.

Call me a homer/crazy, but I really think the Patriots have a good shot to win this game, and I think the Chargers would have a much better shot if they had...... Malcom Floyd.

The Patriots can stop the run, especially if Vince Wilfork is on his A game. Hopefully the Patriots force Rivers to throw, and while I know Rivers is extremely talented, I don't know if his recievers can make the plays in this game. If they had Floyd, he would have given the Chargers a significant height advantage over the Patriots secondary, and the one thing Samuel and others can't stop is height.

The Patriots offensive line has been amazing, and I think to counter San Diego's great pass rush, we'll see a lot of old school Patriot screens and quick outs/curls.

If the Patriots and Ravens both win, the Patriots will make the Superbowl. If the Chargers and Ravens win, the Ravens will make the SB. If the Colts and Chargers both win, the Chargers make the SB. If the Patriots/Colts win, the Colts make the SB.

Huh? Vincent Jackson is 6-5 and is Rivers' go-to guy.
