Unlicensing problems
I am having a problem unlicensing OOTP6.5
The problem is I can't find where to unlicense it from. I got the control panel, and do anything with the elicense folder, I click on it and nothing happens. When I right click on the OOTP6.5 icon on my desktop, I don't see a unlicese option. I had to call Via-Tech to unlicense the program, and after doing a full recovery, and re-installing the game, I still cannot unlicense the game. I just got off the phone with Via-Tech, and they said that they don't think that the option to unlicense is available. Is this correct? This option was available in version 4, And I don't know about version 5, because I got the free version. Now it looks like I can't unlicense. Any Help here??? Thanks Bob |

Well, it isn't a big deal if you can't unlicense it. Just uninstall it, then contact the elicense folks to have the license restored.

Assuming you have Windows XP/SP2 (Home Edition):
1. Left click on "Start". 2. Left click on "Settings". 3. Left click on "Control Panel". 4. Right click on "eLicense Control". 5. Left click on "Open". 6. Double click on "Out of the Park Developments". 7. Right click on "Out of the Park Baseball" (Version 6.5). 8. Left click on "Unlicense". I forget if you have to be connected to the Internet while you do this, but it doesn't hurt to be connected while you do this. |

Bob,
Okay, I keep forgetting that I have the Windows Classic desktop setup. With the standard Windows XP desktop, click on "Start", then click on "Control Panel". I think the rest of the instructions should work as I listed them. Sorry for the confusion! |
