A documentary on the 1955 Yankee-Dodger WS is on KLCS (over the air) channel 58 tonight at 8.

Southern California includes San Diego, and we don't get KLCS, so the thread should say "PING: Los Angeles Baseball Fans..'55 WS doc on KLCS tonight". It's like The Southern California Sports Report showing nothing but Los Angeles/Anaheim highlights.

They will also get it in the OC, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernadino Counties.

I would love to see it.

Living in Indiana, it looks like I'll have to find some way to purchase the DVD if I'm ever to make that happen.

Its on a local PBS station so I am sure it will also be on your PBS station too.

Its shocking hearing Don Zimmer say because he only made $140 a month he had ro work in the winter..Yogi Berra worked in a car dealership as did Don Newcombe. Phil Rizutto sold clothes.

Actually, I checked the schedule when this documentary first aired a while ago and my PBS stations are not showing it in the foreseeable future. I love PBS but I'm pretty sure the fodder our stations offer is among the lamest in the nation. In fact, beyond the occasional airing of an American Experience episode, there is hardly ever much going on.
