problem with ootp5

Hi, I just downloaded the free version of OOTP5 to try it out but I'm having problems simming games. Its fine when Sim games/days in the Career League 2003, but when I create a new standard league, every time I click sim day, the game will crash saying an error has occurred. I've tried it on both of my computers which are pretty advanced and I've also followed the advice of previous posts to turn off the sound but it still does not work. What should I do?

Uninstall, reinstall.
