How many four-leaf clovers are shoved up Touchdown Jesus' backside anyway?
All I gotta say is Notre Dame better not move up much in the polls for a lucky win against a meh team, even if that win was on the road. Last edited by JDOldSchool; 09-24-2006 at 02:10 AM. |

This was only funny because it happened to MSU who just seems to have a total meltdown every season. It's like watching a scheduled yearly train wreck.
They really do take on the attitude of their coach, absolute lack of control over their emotions. |

So let's see, an ND team that was exposed to the light last week after several pundits were foolhardedly optimistic about a proven to be weak defense yields 37 points and 388 total yards to a mediocre Michigan State team and now we are waking up the echoes because they get their typical ND luck to win a game they should have lost. OK, whatever gets you ND guys through the night.

Although to be honest I thought they were going to pull one of their trademark start 5-0, finish 6-6/7-5 type seasons this year. I didn't expect the meltdown until they went to the Big House. They do that at least twice every 5 years. I think MSU has to be one of the 2 or 3 most underachieving programs of the last 15 years. They always have talent and never do anything with it. Meanwhile, Notre Dame will lose at least 2 more games this season. Most likely the USC game and then the BCS bowl they won't deserve to be in. Last edited by Big Hugg; 09-24-2006 at 07:17 AM. |

This is unfair criticism of ND.
Their strength of schedule, historically, has been very, very good. |
