I gave up on them at half time. I was stunned when I heard they won.

PS: I LOL'd at the Touchdown Jesus.

How many four-leaf clovers are shoved up Touchdown Jesus' backside anyway?

All I gotta say is Notre Dame better not move up much in the polls for a lucky win against a meh team, even if that win was on the road.

This was only funny because it happened to MSU who just seems to have a total meltdown every season. It's like watching a scheduled yearly train wreck.

They really do take on the attitude of their coach, absolute lack of control over their emotions.

So let's see, an ND team that was exposed to the light last week after several pundits were foolhardedly optimistic about a proven to be weak defense yields 37 points and 388 total yards to a mediocre Michigan State team and now we are waking up the echoes because they get their typical ND luck to win a game they should have lost. OK, whatever gets you ND guys through the night.

Bingo. That game was Classic Michigan State. It's really quite hilarious.

Although to be honest I thought they were going to pull one of their trademark start 5-0, finish 6-6/7-5 type seasons this year. I didn't expect the meltdown until they went to the Big House.

They do that at least twice every 5 years. I think MSU has to be one of the 2 or 3 most underachieving programs of the last 15 years. They always have talent and never do anything with it.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame will lose at least 2 more games this season. Most likely the USC game and then the BCS bowl they won't deserve to be in.

Didn't see a mention of Brady Quinn in your post, I was replying to "typical ND luck to win a game"

And I'm sure the mighty football programmes of Rice, Troy, Mid Tenn St, Buffalo and Hawaii who got beat yesterday by ranking teams will agree with you.

Notre Dame loves to play teams from the Power Six conferences. You know, those mid-of-the-pack teams that make them look good when they beat them. The first thought that comes to mind is Boston College, whom Notre Dame beat five out of six years from 95-00. Then BC beat Notre Dame the last four times, and suddenly (by 100% coincidence, I'm sure), Notre Dame no longer wants to play BC.

K I guess I'm missing it, what do those teams have to do with anything?

This is unfair criticism of ND.

Their strength of schedule, historically, has been very, very good.
