2006 AL East predictions
It's that time, kids! Pitchers and catchers are in camp and the hot stove has grown cold, so who you got?

Gotta vote Jays even though I'm not sure they have enough offence from the outfield to do it. Should be fun.

Sadly I don't see anyone in the AL East beating the Yankees this season. =( That team can't play too much worse than it did last year, can it?

I think "The Order" will still be in effect this season:
1. Yankees 2. Red Sox 3. Blue Jays 4. Orioles 5. Rays Since the last division realignment in 1998, that's been the precise order of finish in the AL East every season except 2004, when Baltimore and Toronto flip-flopped. It's a magic thing, and it would take a more momentous offseason than this last one to change it.

Yankees by a landslide.

The Red Sox. Well, it'll really be the Yankees, but I want to be different.

I hate almost every team in this division. Although, where other's blast the Yankees and King George, I actually respect them. I love seeing an owner that is willing to spend every dime to bring his fans a winner -- a lot more than I can say for 3/4ths of the owners out there. So, for that fact alone I'm going with the Yanks and I'll be pulling for them all the way.

Go Yankees!!! With the Blue Jays running a close second followed by Boston, Tampa Bay and Baltimore.

God damn it, I meant to pick the Yankees but picked the Red Sox. This poll is flawed!

I think the Yanks are going to walk away with the division this year boogeying the entire way to October. ![]() Hopefully the Angels will get to knock them out in the first round again.

I'd like to be an optimist and pick the Jays, but it's hard not to pick the Yankees. The Jays have better pitching, but the Yankees' offense is just so good it's unfair.

My heart said Jays, my brain says Yanks. I think they will be better than last year too.

Orioles win the first of 14 consecutive division titles. Well, 'cept for the year when the season will be cancelled.

I voted with my heart for the Red Sox, I think it's essentially a dead heat though. I think the Red Sox had a tremendous offseason with alot of potential to be much better than last year.

EDIT: Josh Beckett is obviously a nice addition, but who knows what kind of performance they're going to get from Schilling, Wells, and Clement?
