Problems starting a historical league

I'm trying to create a historical league and somehow it's not creating the league. Can you please assist me with this.

how do I upload the file if it's an access file

You can't use the access version of the database with OOTP/STB.

You must use the generic (.csv version) of the database to import.

I recieved the .csv version. When I extract the file, should I put the file in the c:\stats or just put it in the oopt4 file.

I just extracted to the c:\stats file and it still will not create a historical league. It says "cannot create folder"

Is there another folder, or is there just a bunch of .csv files?

You need to specify the full path to all the .csv files for OOTP to find them.

There's a bunch of files. EX. batting, pitching. Do you mean that I have to extract each one. One at a time?

No, just once. How much RAM and free HD space do you have? What version of the game are you using?

Ok... you've got all the files you should have...

If you have specified C:\Stats as the import directory in the create new league start up it should work.

Check your OOTP4 directory and make sure you don't already have a league with the same name that you were trying to use.

You must have a different name for each league and that could potentially cause the problem you are seeing now.

I have 128k ram and about 4 gigs left. I'm using version 4.1.
