Fatal error message

I was going to post this in the Tech support section but more people are in here & might have experienced the same problem.

Last weekend, a friend of mine upgraded my computer from Win98 to WinXP.

So today I tried to reload & open TB2 but I kept receiving:

Fatal Error reading. dat file terminated

TB2 is there but when it's trying to load up all the data, I receive that Fatal Error message.

So, I thought I'd try to load TB1 & see if I had the same problem. To my surprise, that one loaded with no problems & opens up with no problem at all.

Any suggestions on what I can do? I know some of you have experienced various problems.

Do you have a back up of the data file (name.dat) that it is trying to load?

You could temporarily remane the .dat file and copy the backup into the data folder.
