New Paint Shop Pro X1/Time Machine
I just noticed that the new Paint Shop Pro is available, and it has a new feature that could make player photos pretty interesting. They include an automatic Time Machine effect that will replicate any picture to any decade (ie 1870's, 1950's), I assume using the technology of the day. So the 1800 pictures would be black and white, with color coming in the 1900s and gradually getting brighter and cleaner through the decades. If you could mass input player photos through this, esp using FaceTool, you would have 'authentic' pictures through the decades. Just thought it was interesting.

Pretty cool option, but for the real MLB pictures, they are based on real pictures taken during that time, so it won't help much.
I wish there was some software that I could run that would age the player's faces, now that would be cool. With my autoface, you can put older photos of players in the correct year and it will use the year. So, you can have a picture of Mantle that was on his 1958 baseball card and put it in the 1958 folder. Then, you could put one from the 1962 baseball card in his 1962 folder. When you run my program in 1962, it will add the older Mantle. This would be cool if we had 10-15 years for each player.
