Is Shaun Alexander getting fat?

I never noticed before the Detroit game but there was a moment after a run where he was walking back to the huddle and he seemed to have a lot of padding in the abdominal area. He also seemed less mobile in this game. Sure, the line wasn't dominating like 2005 but he did have places to run...he just didn't slip past that first tackler like we're used to seeing.

Now that he's signed long term, getting older, and reached definate icon status...is he letting himself go? Or is it "good pounds" in an attempt to become more smashmouth?
