Cubbies Rosters a Few Years in

I was wondering if you guys had played a few years in and seen how quickly all the prospects progress and filter the real MLB guys out of the picture.

I dropped player creation modifiers, slowed aging, and slowed development... And young guys I've never heard of still take over the league within five years of starting. Is anyone else having this issue, and how did you fix it if you did.

As I've said, until the rest of the minors are fixed this is going to happen, because the potentials of players in the low minors are too high.

Cubby,

What crazy dimension are you in? August 15?? I wish I was four days ahead, I'd like betting on some baseball games!

Or is August 15 when you plan on releasing that stuff?

Cubby, were you able to fix that Cleveland issue or talk to someone who can? When players are going from AAA to Rookie Ball before the Majors, it kinda kills the realism.

Thanks, I must have misunderstood your explanation the first time when I saw you address this issue. I get it now though. Thanks for all the hard work, it is greatly appreciated.

What did you set your modifiers to (player aging/devp'mt)? I am re-doing the Rolen rosters to make them a little more realistic but want realistic age/development modifiers to keep the prospects out for awhile and the MLB guys in the picture for longer...

I am starting an OOTP league, and looking to do a realistic roster to start. Heard cubbies was good, but when is this problem going to be fixed you think, since prospects just take over. Also, any other good realistic rosters out there? thanks

There are no other accurate 2006 rosters that I know of (you can convert, but it just makes a mess and the results are pretty bad). Cubby said in a few weeks (Likely Sept 1 or so, from when he said it) he would have his rosters fully complete. It is not a "problem" persay, they are just incomplete/beta rosters.
