Small advance warning - new fields in players lists

As you may have already noticed, the patch will include the scouted overall and overall potential ratings in player lists. However, they will only show up when you delete the \tables folder inside your ootp\data folder. This folder contains you player list configurations, and since this got expanded, these files need to go. Unfortunately this will erase your custom views and filters, so you may want to remember the ones you used the most and re-enter them after installing the patch and deleting that folder.

Sorry for the inconvinience

Do we have to do this manually, or does the patch installer do it for us?

And also, you won't see the ratings in your old leagues til you switch from SISA to your head scout.

Does this mean that if we wanted to port our custom views/filters to a second pc, all we'd have to do is copy the contents of the \tables folder over?

Just curious as I'm in the process of buying a new laptop. Thanks!

tables folder contents or the folder itself ? I only ask because in the transactions screen most minor league ratings are still showing a - instead of an actual number/rating

I know this is a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyway.

Does this apply to new leagues started with the patch too or just leagues that were begun pre-patch?

Select a scout, not SISA... SISA does not give you overall ratings.

Markus,

Thanks so much for the quick response. However, I think I confused you with my question.

You said in the 1st post that we needed to delete the \tables folder inside your ootp\data folder to be able to see the scouted overall and overall potential ratings in player lists.

Is this necessary only for leagues started pre-patch or do all of us who download this patch need to do this before starting a league?

(Again I know this is more than likely a stupid question but I asked anyway)

When you delete that folder, it applies to all leagues, no matter if pre-patch or not

I was wondering if we still need to delete this folder in order to see the new fields if we only updated with the final version of the 2nd patch?

Thanks for any info anyone can provide!
