Online League Trade

I made a trade recently in an online league and I want to see what people think. It is an interesting trade because some very good players are involved and it was between two division rivals.

Team A info:
~Division Leader (World Series appearance the last 2 years but no title, the window is almost closed for success unless new blood is brought in)
~Has serious salary cap issues and limited cash on hand
~Several young players due to hit FA next season so money is an issue

Team B info:
~Last in the same division as Team A but loaded with young talent
~Has plenty of salary cap room
~No "signature" player before deal so no major contract problems

So who got the better deal?

Considering that team A will probably let Williams go at the end of the season, saving 12M plus the addition of 7 M in cash, I would think that A got a far better deal than B. Plus team A dumps Crawford at 18M (for the next 2 seasons).

If I were the GM of team A I would jump on this offer but if I were team B I would hesitate. But if B is stacked with young players this would make sense to try to move up a bit, at least for a few years until the young players are ready.

Tough call but I still think A got a FAR better deal.
