Huge Feature I Want 4 Ootp5

Ok,

The feature that I really need because Im oh so lazy everytime I start a new league is this...

*Change the Marlins abreviation from FLO to FLA

Actually Sean Lahman made a database not ootp so that would be ootp's option to change it...

yes, but I think he meant changing it would cause a whole lot of trouble when importing from the database. That's why ootp says FLO and not FLA, because the database did.

Yes and no... OOTP doesn't always use the same abbreviations as the database at least not for the default league. (Obviously for a historical league it does).

A lot, apparently.

There are some inconsistencies within the Lahman files when it comes to team abbreviations. I've actually made a complete text file listing every team and the abbreviations that go along with it. Now I should just e-mail it over there and see what the reply is, but I've been too lazy to do it yet.

Also, couldn't one just run a search and replace on all the Lahman files and make the team abbreviations whatever you want? Or does making any change in the abbreviations, even if on ALL of the Lahman files, cause a problem?

I mean Im just talkin about when you start up a fictional 2002 season in ootp the Marlins start off w/ FLO as their abrev. and not FLA thats all I was bitching about.
