This may not be exactly correct, but it's close....

In the real world, you cannot send a "5 year" player down to the minors without his permission. If permission is not forthcoming, and the team elects to send him down anyway, he can be claimed by another team off the waiver wire.

It would be great if OOTP could mimic this. Today, if a player is injured for a week, you can just stash him in the minors -- no need to put him on the 15 day DL.

yup very good point.. thats exatly what i have done when my players who get hurt.. i stick em in triple A.. Would be much more challenging and realistic to include this feature in later releases..

We are hoping to add some of the "player rules" for lack of a better term, though not sure when and exactly what.
