Is it possible to deauthorize a computer, wipe the hard drive and reinstall the program with the original key?

To deregister the game, go to the eLicense Control in your computer's Control Panel. OOTP should be listed in there, with Unlicense available via right-click.

I'm sorry it's taken us so long to get you an official response on this. It looks like Zeyes' answer should have addressed your issue. Were you ever able to get this done?
