online league setup

guys

i can't find the help information, though i've been searching for a half hour, so hope you can guide me to it, or provide info:

i am in an online league

i downloaded the league file
i set up the folders in the OOTP4 main folder, as per the forum directions
i unzipped the files into that league folder, with the proper .lg extension

when i fire up the game, i chose the league, it loaded, but has no teams or players, etc....empty

thanks for the help

Look inside of THAT league folder and you will probably find "another" folder named the same as your league, copy those files into the other folder and you should be fine.

From my experience, this was the result of the person zipping the file having the check box labeled "Save full path info" checked.

Depending on whether this is checked during the creation of the zip file determines how it will be unzipped.

If it is zipped and checked then the files will attempt to unzip into a folder that matches the file structure that the commish had set up.

As a commish, I try to always zip our files up without the checkbox checked so that each owner would unzip into their league folder no matter what it is called.

Hope that makes sense.
