cant stop the sim

even more annoying then the DFA bug, its near impossible to stop the sim...

Yeah, I wish this could be fixed. From what I've read, it's not an easy fix.

I suggested earlier a checkbox solution, where each day the game checks if the box is checked and if so, stops the sim... granted I haven't programmed non-web stuff in awhile, but it doesn't sound that hard

stop the sim ? if you mean while simming weeks/months whichever and want an immediate stop press and hold the stop sim don't just click on it. hope that helps

It's impossible for me to stop the sim during the offseason. During the season it's different.

Hmmm...I'm up to date on the patches and I've been able to stop the sim during the off season after I've hit 'autoplay...until next week, month, etc.' Granted, it may go another day since it's processing pretty quickly, but it stops.

i guess the next best move for you would be to change your auto save to daily in the off season then.
