RP staying in game after batter pinch-hits
Bottom of the 10th, I pinch hit Lester Otto for Richard Doney. To my surprise, Richard stayed in and pitched to 2 batters in the 11th. An interesting observation though: The other team did bring in a RP during the half inning. Just wondering if it is some sort of flag that got cleared in the code because of the other team doing a RP.
From the Box Score R. Doney P 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 .000 0 0 c-L. Otto PH 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 .333 0 0 J. Lesko P 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 .000 0 0 Totals 37 6 9 6 3 8 17 R. Doney 3.2 2 0 0 0 4 0 41 30 0.00 J. Just as an update to this: It does only appear to happen when the other team brings in a RP during the inning. Just FYI...

Pinch Hitter
Here's something I just noticed. I'm playing against the Pirates. Castillo pinch hits for John Olerud in the 9th inning. The game goes to extra innings and Olerud remains in the field. When it comes back to his spot in the order Castillo is hitting for him again. Castillo stayed on their lineup sheet as a PH from the 9th till the end of the game but Olerud kept playing in the field. Castillo went 2 for 2. I still managed to win it in 13 though so no big deal this time.

I'm seeing this quite often too. The batter will remain in the lineup with PH shown as his position.

More info on TT 1691
More information for TT 1691
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ight=Tt%231691 http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ight=Tt%231691 ![]() ![]() The first screen is from a game where the AI inserted 3 pinch hitters in one inning. At the end of the half inning One of the three was showing on the fielding display at 1B. The other two showed in the lineup as playing PH. This is what the "Available Player" screen showed. The second screenshot, from a different game, shows the problem better. Compare the Twins line-up to the players in the field. Again 3 PH substitutions in one inning. At the top of the inning one player was given a fielding position (Queirs). The other two show in the lineup at PH (Grava & Grelot). The players they pinch hit for (Ciai & Bacety) are still in the field. Later in the game one of the substituted fielders (Ciai) was credited with an assist. This is after the first patch. Pretty basic stuff. This one is close to a deal breaker for me. |

This sounds alot like the post in this thread
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=124907 In that post, a player was injured and was pitch hit for, but remained in the game on defense. |
