Problem with Free Agency w/ Pierre's Team Importer

I am starting a new custom league with no players. I am currently using Pierre's Team Importer to transfer players from one file to the other. Once in the new file, the players are unable to sign to a team.

Ex. I right click K. Rule to sign to Team A, in doing so a message pops up "Would you like to sign H. Grace?" I click yes, and neither player is signed. Anyone?

Just bumping up this old topic, does Pierre's Player Importer work for 6.5 or is there one for 6.5 at all?
