Mac Delete Saved League

I am running a mac and I acn't get it to delete saved league.

I click delete league. It asks me do you really want to delete this league. I click ok and then I get the swirling volleyball of death. Game hangs up.

Post-Patch PC Version

After installing the patch and creating a new game, I later went back to delete a few test games I had started with the original release.

I used the load game menu, selected the league I wanted to delete and clicked on delete. It then started deleting the messages. Once it reached 100%, it did nothing else. After 5 minutes the program was not responding, so I used task manager to close it.

This is not an issue for game play, but it is a nuisnace for getting rid of previous saved games I don't want to keep.

(I had a similar lockup while trying to save a quickstart post-patch as well)

I've found it takes the program a long time to delete saved games. Instead of using the in-game function, I use Windows Explorer to navigate to the saved game league folder and just delete that. It's a whole lot quicker and just as effective.

Use Windows Explorer to delete a old lg file. It is far less painful.

Actually, I think it's just taking a REALLY long time. This is a bug that has already been logged, #1947.

For now, if you want to delete a game, just do it from within the finder, when OOTPB is closed.

I have been unable to delete a couple leagues from my game. I even tried doing it through windows, but it just stays on the deleting page, never getting any farther. Help!

When you delete leagues in Windows, are you doing it with OOTP open?

This issue was thought to be fixed, but still appears to be an issue. I have reopened the issue. It is still TT # 1947.

Instead of using the in-game function, I use Windows Explorer to navigate to the saved game league folder and just delete that. It's a whole lot quicker and just as effective.
