If it could be made as an option...that would be awesome. I play out my games so the "sim" speed wouldn't bother me at all. If I wanted more speed for say a historical sim or a sim to get some background for a fictional league...I could turn it off.
This is one of those things though I have a feeling will make it in a 3rd party add-on....but who knows. Either way....the more stats the better. |

I saw that thread...but I don't think Markus means that stuff that the game now tracks seasonaly (in terms of splits) well now be kept for a career. That just my assumption though.

So, what precisely is it that you want to see?

It would also be cool if you could seperately see how they did vs minor leaguers as well.

Career vs L & R for pitchers and hitters is the big one for me... If there was room for more...that would be great....I'd love to see what someone hit for their career with runners in scoring position...how did they fare home and away for their career...how did has my 15 year utility player fared as a PH?...I'd love to be able to see that kind of detail. That kind of thing...as many of the spilts as the game can handle....without causing it to run unacceptably slow on the majority of users PC's and MAC's. But if I could only have one....Vs L & R would be what I would want to see. I really don't expect any sports sim that is a career league simulator type to have that level of career splits detail. Generally if I have a fairly decent set of career stats a game tracks & career league leaders and career team leaders....it gets bonus points from me. On the other hand.....you want to add the whip cream and cherry on top...having even some of the career splits would do it for me. |

One of the great things about this game is all the stats, one of the bad things is you often have to change the drop downs to view the "other half."

The career split is there, just like last years split for leftys and rightys is there, but you can't see anything but one player at a time. It's obviously tracked, but I can't pull up a list of everyone in the league and see who has the best career batting average for their career against lefty's.... or who had the highest average against lefty's last year.
The game tracks it... but it's limited in how you can view it. Don't know if that is what the poster is talking about... but it's my own personal problem with it.

Just for discussion's sake, is there another game (PureSim, Mogul, Cato?) that shows these on one page?
Can someone post a screenshot or link? Just want to think about it. Steve |

For me....I would love just to be able to view it like Catobase...at least in the History section. It would be even better if you could also see it sortable for a particular league or team. I want to stress I'm not complaining....at all...it blows my mind all the different stats you can look up in OOTP....no game can have everything.
