Converting from 6.5, cutting teams...losing players

When I convert my league from 6.5 to 2006, I deleted about half the teams.

When I do this, it also deletes all the players from my league and replaces them with fictional players. Does anyone know a way that I can convert my league, cut teams and keep all my players?

Are you changing the structure of the league before you "Start Game"? You should probably do that afterwards.

yes, I am cutting all the teams beforehand. I wasn't aware you could cut teams afterwards. I'll try that. Thanks bro.
