How long is it taking you to SIM?

I imported the most recent AROD rosters and I only used AAA, AA and A. The bottom two minors I left out. I started a league and it started in January and just to sim to February its taking around 30 min. Why would it take this long when there arent any gamers to be played?

With three sets of minors? I can start the year, go to the refrigerator, get a bottle of water, and walk back and the game will be in mid June.

Granted the game is full of bugs, but wouldnt a better approach be to try to work together and try to idenify all bugs ,work with the tech support team to get them resolved.

I imported the 1980 season from 3 different databases, added minor leagues (AAA, AA and A) and had the game sim each league to the start of the next season. Took minutes on my computer. I've had no issues with performance at all and I'm finding the statistics to be very realistic.

I'm running a Pentium M processor, 1.6 Ghz on my HP laptop. Getting the same results on my Pentium 4, 3+ Ghz desktop at work.

There is a program that runs in my background that if it's running, OOTP runs like crap. Could it be something in the background?

Also, try defragging if you haven't already

Mook-you got the ticker on? My sim speed increased about 200% after turning that off.

And yes, I've said it before. I realize this.
